By far my favorite bar in the city! I've come here for years and it's still my go-to spot in the city. The best drinks for affordable price! The best bar food. And the atmosphere is beyond beautiful. It is a lowkey chill local spot, and I still come out of my way to visit. Best bar staff also! I also get the Bees Knees and some wings, and I am always sure to get my Damn Good Pie to go.

This is my favorite bar in all of Baltimore. We went once for date night and now I go once every week. Everything is delicious but I always get the pork buns and the Astroid Blues (see you in space cowboy). I love everything about this place. Please give it a try if you get a chance, you won't regret it.

If you're looking for a cool, vampire-y basement bar with great drinks, check out Sugarvale. The interior is dim and a little loud, but feels very intimate and moody for a date or meeting up with a small group of friends. Since 2020 they expanded their outdoor seating! During the day, it makes a nice spot for a drink and to read or write before the dinner crowd streams through. The drink menu is always fun, and their food is a nice bite to munch along with your drink. The menu always has something for the more adventurous AND the more traditional, but their bartenders can accommodate you preferences if you ask nicely!

I don’t drink alcohol but still had a great time here. The bartenders were so nice and attentive. I went with a friend who also doesn’t drink and has a lot of food allergies (including citrus), but they were still able to come up with a delicious mocktail for her. Great vibes all around. I will definitely be back.

Had gone here with friends, it's a small, kind of hole in the wall place, but it's cozy with warm, dark, and slightly moody ambience. It's a tight space with how popular it is. There's table, bar, and outdoor seating. Sat at the bar and that was nice, it was easier to get your order in. Seats are comfortable for bar stools. People who can't get a seat at the bar can just stand by it. There's a bathroom inside, but I didn't personally use it. In terms of drinks: alien love call, ginger beer (non-alcoholic), and sansho the bailiff. I recommend all three, but if I had to choose just one to drink again, it would definitely be the alien love call. Maybe it's because I'm biased towards floral flavors. It was quite light and couldn't quite taste the alcohol. I could probably drink 50 of those. Sansho the bailiff - heavy on the rum, but fun flavor combo. If you've never had ginger beer, it's like spicy ginger ale. In terms of food, we got these wings and they were hella good - super crispy and I think they had honey drizzled on them. The blue cheese dip was super creamy and not as bitter as I thought it would be. It paired well with the wings. I forgot to take a picture of the beet burger I had, but I was pleasantly surprised by it's quality. I'd order it again didn't really taste the beet in it, but that's my preference anyways.

Excellent drinks, decent food, can get a little crowded at night or on weekends. If it’s slow they’ll come to your table, but generally you gotta order at the bar. Almost-may update, new seasonal drinks are fantastic (and still anime themed)

This bar is a hidden gem - literally. If you blink you might miss its basement entrance, which would be a mistake. The bar is beautiful and cozy with an attentive staff. Despite their discontinuation of tiki Mondays the bartender was happy to make us some delicious tiki drinks on a whim. I haven't had the food but if it's anything like the drinks or decor I'm certain that it's thoughtful and delicious.

This place was open, cute, friendly, and had a great cocktail selection! Went here during the week and there were people in there winding down for the evening. Fairy lights and ivy on the ceiling, beautiful tiling on the floor.
